SAMBRE was born from the desire of a group of photographers to shape a shared space where photography becomes a dialogue, a form of research, and a point of encounter. The name draws inspiration from the Sambre River: small, persistent, and capable of flowing through territories and generating stories even when everything around it changes. This is its strength, and it is ours too: to keep flowing, together. In a fragmented and constantly shifting present we aim to be a point of connection, a space where not just photographers can meet to share ideas and evolve. Here art becomes a social gesture, a relationship and a shared possibility.
